The Community Development Institute (CDI) provide a wide range of support to individuals and new and small organisations that want to develop their skills and improve the way they operate. Our core services are Information Communication Technology, volunteering, educational, cultural and business activities and training services to all sectors of society. We work on a variety of different levels with individuals and organizations within the community. These include those in or currently seeking employment, students, working parents as well as local community groups and businesses. Our services are particularly aimed at meeting the changing needs of users within the continuously evolving world of Information Communication Technology.
Our mission is: “to improve education and employment prospects of disadvantaged communities and individuals and thereby improve lifestyles”. How we do it.... |

A DESIRE to get young Asians in touch with their roots has spawned an exhibition charting how men and women came from overseas to build new lives. The Asian Roots exhibition uses oral accounts and visual displays to tell the story of 17 Redbridge people of Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani origins. |
